Introducing the Legacy Leadership Program

Leadership in the earthmoving and civil construction industry has always been learned the hard way.

Most leaders earn their position through skill, experience, and grit — then suddenly find themselves responsible for people, culture, and decisions that impact an entire crew.

For decades, the industry has relied on leaders to figure that part out on their own.

The Legacy Leadership Program was built to change that.

Originally developed for leaders inside C.J. Moyna & Sons, this two-day immersive leadership experience was designed to help foremen, superintendents, and project leaders navigate the real pressures of leading teams in the earthmoving and civil construction world.

Now, for the first time, the program is being made available to members of the Inner Circle.

Leadership Built for Pressure

The Legacy Leadership Program wasn’t designed as a typical leadership seminar.

It was built from the reality of leading crews where the stakes are real, the conditions change constantly, and decisions matter.

Instead of focusing only on personality theory or motivational ideas, the program is structured around six practical leadership disciplines that move leaders from internal control to external performance:

• Character

• Competence

• Connection

• Clarity

• Support

• Accountability

These disciplines give leaders a framework for building trust, communicating expectations clearly, developing people, and creating teams that perform under pressure.

At the center of the program is a simple but powerful leadership principle:

Event + Reaction = Outcome

Leaders cannot control every event that happens around them, but they can control their reaction — and that reaction ultimately shapes the outcome.

Built for Our Industry — But Applicable Anywhere

The program was originally created with earthmoving and civil construction leaders in mind.

The scenarios, discussions, and practical exercises reflect the kinds of challenges leaders face on jobsites every day.

But the principles behind the program go far beyond construction.

Any organization that depends on people to work together, communicate clearly, build trust, and deliver results can apply the same leadership disciplines.

Because leadership, at its core, is about people.

What Participants Walk Away With

This is not a passive classroom experience.

The Legacy Leadership Program is designed to be interactive, practical, and immediately applicable.

Participants leave with:

• Two full days of immersive leadership development

• A DiSC behavioral profile and insights into communication styles

• A comprehensive workbook filled with practical leadership strategies

• Tools and practices designed to transfer directly into daily leadership

The goal is simple...

Participants don’t just leave with notes. They leave with practices.

Now Available to the Inner Circle

Members of the Inner Circle are the first outside organizations to have access to the Legacy Leadership Program. We have dates available starting March 17-18 or April 7-8.

If you’re interested in sending leaders from your organization through the program, you can learn more here:

We’re excited to share this program with the broader industry and help develop the next generation of leaders who will shape the future of our work.

Because great companies aren’t built by machines alone.

They’re built by leaders who know how to bring people together and move forward — one decision at a time.
